caribbeansunplace is British Columbia’s leading liquidation store. We find deals on a large variety of products from all over Canada, the United States, and the world which ranges from new - manufacturer direct, seasonal closeout, refurbished, and open box product. You will find it all at caribbeansunplace: tech, fashion, outdoor gear, hardware, kitchenware, furniture – even groceries.

Many of our products fall into the “re-certified” category, while other items are first line goods or out-of-season products. We have multiple sort warehouses where we inspect, test, and re-certify any item that arrives that is previously opened “open box”. After this careful process, these items become re-stocked and available to our customers at a lower-than-retail price, of up to 70% off. Most all of our products include an in-store limited warranty of at least 60 days. We intend to offer you great deals and treat you fairly.

Our History
MTF-Price-Matters to Big-Box-Outlet-Store

Formally known as MTF Price Matters, caribbeansunplace has been family-owned by the Funk’s since 1985 and operates in British Columbia, Washington, and California. The core of the brand has kept focus ever since on finding brand name items through its reverse logistics purchasing channels, in order to sell products to customers at heavily discounted prices.

Mark Funk, Founder and President of caribbeansunplace, has made a long career of finding big success by recognizing great opportunities. “We know how to keep it relevant,” says Funk, “we never lose sight of what our customers love, and that’s brand names and great prices.”

What People Are Saying About Us

 Mission City Record Newspaper

"Mission is such a friendly place that there must be something in the water.
We have lived in about 10 towns/cities in British Columbia and for the last year in Mission.Of all the places we have lived this is the friendliest town by far. The staff all the shops we frequent have been so welcoming, helpful and friendly, in particular, the employees at Superstore, London Drugs, and Save-on-Foods.
By far, though, the people who work at Big Box (Outlet Store) rate a 10 in my book.  Every time I visit their store they have a smile and have come to recognize and acknowledge me, which is so very nice. I do not know if there is something in the water, but I am so glad we made the moved Mission."

Google Reviews

"Big Box Rocks. I have been a regular customer since 1999. I find the variety and selection sort of like a modern general store and rarely leave without a bargain. My sister and I usually shop together and are always greeted by the most friendly staff who after so long feel more like friends."

"Great selection of home decor. Good quality furniture at affordable prices. Manager and staff are all helpful." - Garry B.
